Must be really clean and bug free (Sorry, I have a real aversion to roaches etc...)Otherwise we are super cool, very responsible and nice. manhattan, New York, United States spring The Home My boyfriend and I have a beautiful 1920'S house, in Carthay Circle, the best location in LA, 2 minutes from Beverly Hills,the Grove, the Beverly Center... My house is 1400 square feet, hardwood floors, washer/dryer, amazing contemporary art, as I am an art dealer. Dinning room, living room, Kitchen (stove/oven, fridge, fully stocked with plates,pans etc...), laundry room, 2 bedrooms (only one is available, the other one I rent to a very nice and responsible man who sleeps here Monday through Thursday morning and goes back to his wife and kids the rest of the week, when he is here, he goes to work all day.) I have a beautiful dining room table with 10 chairs (dinner parties possible !!) The living room has a gorgeous Italian couch and divan (both were used in the latest TV show Star Trek)as well as 2 coffee tables. The living room has high ceilings, the view overlooks one of the most beautiful streets in LA. The bedroom has a queen bed and a cute red couch. Wireless internet in the house. If you rent a car, the parking is super easy, right in front of the house, if you take the public transportation, there are 3 major buslines less than 2 minute walk. If you walk, you are within 15 minutes of the Original Farmers market and the Grove, many shops, restaurents, cafes... The bathroom has a seperate shower and bath, the original tile form 1929 is in perfect condition. The house has a side door to the side driveway which is now a lovely outdoor area, shaded for dining, etc...(smoking outside OK) Telephone for local calls. HOME TYPE: Single Family The Neighborhood The house is in a really great area, near the LA County Museum (little know fact:free after 5pm) there is a great park (La Brea tar pits) and more restaurents on Wilshire, 15 minute walk from the house or in LA terms 2 minutes (BY car!) 2 minutes from Starbucks coffee and for Coffee Bean affectianados, 8 minute walk. The area has beautiful houses, lots of plants and flowers, 5 minute drive from the gym. The Grove shopping outdoor mall is a 5 minute drive and is quite charming in a disneylandesque kind of way, shops, restaurants and one of the best movie theatres in LA. A 15 minute drive puts you in the heart of Hollywood: bars, clubs, restaurants,etc... A 3 minute drives puts you in the heart of West Hollywood, cafes, restaurants and bars.. 5 minute drives puts you in the heart of Beverly Hills, shops, restaurents, cafes... 20 minute drive to the beaches. There are 5 theatres right in the neighborhood and a lot within 15 minute drive. The original Farmers Market is a 2 minute drive (amazing food and shops and super fun. My boyfriend is a working actor and is from New York. He has lived in LA the last few years and just booked a huge national commercial.
