Home Exchange We are looking to travel to: We wish to spend an extended holiday at or near a ski resort. We are specificaly looking for utah but would consider any destination in the northern hemisphere. We are ideally looking for excellent skiing without the crowds. If you own such a property and fancy a winter holiday surfing get in touch. salt lake / park city, Utah, United States winter The Home Beautiful beachfront 4 bedroom home on taylors mistake beach just outside christchurch. The house is an attractive modern, casual beach house. The views are spectacular and floor to ceiling glass bifold doors open onto large sunny decks. There is a large open plan living area and kitchen with wonderful views, a cosy tv room and four upstairs bedrooms. The master bedroom is so close to the beach that you feel like you are sailing. There is a hot outside shower and a hot tub for after the surf. Good drive on access and only 100ft from the high tide mark. An ideal spot to hang out for the summer. We also own a modern 4 bedroom cottage in the nz alps at casle hill, 2hrs drive from the house. There the weather is hotter, there is less wind and the peace is absolute. The walking fishing mountainbiking and rock climbing (bouldering)are fantastic. HOME TYPE: Single Family The Neighborhood Taylors mistake is a lovely unspoiled beach positioned between sceenic cliffs and surrounded by large areas of unspoiled reserve land. The beach is a popular for swimming in the summer and is a locally renowned surf beach, suitable for all levels of surfing ability. Numerous walking and mountain bike tracks leave from the beach. Extensive oportunities exist for other outdoor activities inluding boating sailing fishing kayaking rock climbing paragliding sindsurfing/kite boarding road cycling etc.. yet just a short drive over the hill is the charming village of sumner with shops and restaurants and a cinema.The center of christchurch is 30 min away. Christchurch is a beautiful gardened city in its own right with a large number of golf courses, theatre and meuseums and an art gallery. our second home, also available for use, is situated in a very quiet mountain village. It enjoys beautiful weather and is an ideal base for fly fishing walking mountainbiking rock climbing waterskiing or just relaxing in the sun. The People We are a buisy family of two doctors and three boys. We all love the outdoors and surf in the summer and ski in the winter we also enjoy hiking, rock climbing and mountainbiking.Our dog chub is a faithful companion and all goings on are looked over by our burmese cat kyba. We are looking forward to an extended holiday (4-5weeks) over christmas and for jan 2011. We hope to spend this in or near to a ski resort in the US canada or europe. We have 2 cars and a toyota suv available for use, in addition a 3.4 mtr rigid inflatable boat ideal for kids waterskiing and fishing, kayaks surfboards and mountain and road bikes.
