We are looking to travel to (Open to any destination): We are planning to go to USA in May/June 2011. Please contact us if you want to visit beautiful Tasmania. We are open to offers. United States (May 2011-Jun 2011) Australia The Home We have a lovely comfortable home. It is convenient to many excellent amenities. It has three bedrooms, the main bedroom has an ensuite. The kitchen is well appointed with a gas cooktop and electric oven, a microwave, dishwasher and all of the regular things you would expect to find. There is a relaxed outside eating area with a barbeque for entertaining and family meals. We have a separate dining area and lounge. Our neighbours are friendly and helpful, but will respect your privacy. We can arrange someone to meet you at the airport and escourt you home to our house. We have a cat but we can arrange to have her minded at another home if that is a problem. We are a smoke free home. HOME TYPE: Single Family The Neighborhood Tasmania is a wilderness paradise enjoying fresh water, clean air and beautiful food. It is a unique part of Australia and a MUST SEE!! We live 2 kilometres (1.24 miles) from the centre of beautiful Hobart in a suburb called Sandy Bay. It has excellent shopping, banking and medical facilities all within walking distance of our home. It is a very safe area for families and couples. Hobart is a harbour city and the capital of Tasmania and sits on the Derwent River. There are beautiful walks around the harbour and lots of cafes and restaurants where you can sit and have a relaxing drink. We are very close (2 minute drive) to the heritage suburb of Battery Point where you will find tiny cottages along with some mansions. We are a five minute walk to Wrest Point Casino and the University of Tasmania. It’s an easy drive from our home to the ferry that will take you to Bruny Island, the Huon area, Richmond, Mount Wellington, National Park, Hastings Caves and Port Arthur and many other places. ATTRACTIONS: Restaurants Shopping Galleries/Museums Ocean Mountain Trails Mountains Biking Hiking Boating Other Information We are an easy one hour flight from Melbourne or a two hour flight from Sydney. Tasmania is a unique part of Australia and a MUST SEE destination. We will travel at times with 2 very well behaved teenagers and possibly an adult child who is currently completing a Law Degree. We love the outdoors and have a kayak you might like to borrow. We have bikes and some walking gear also available. We are members of the local sailing club and may be able to arrange something for you with the club if you are interested. Currently we are completing a holiday home at Orford a lovely seaside town on the East Coast of Tasmania. This is within driving distance to Coles Bay National Park.
