I am one American who does not like to be told by the media who I should vote for and I do not like to hear about evangelicals determining the outcome in some primary states.   The media has a duty to be unbiased in their reporting but that is impossible in this modern day.  Our political system should be representative of all Americans and separate from religion.  Our current 2 party system limits my choice between someone ready to start another war or a freedom restrictive socialist.  I want more choices than just 2.   There is the libertarian party that is for the people but because of our system of special interests, the 2 main parties dominate the media air waves and print.  The thing they do not dominate is the internet.  This gives me hope that the independent minded American now has a place in the American Political System.   

We have such innovational technologies today with the internet and mobile communication devices that these should be embedded into our political system.  Why shouldn't the independent voters get a seat at the candidate selection table?  Now the independent voter has a vehicle to coalesce around.. www.americanselect.org .  The website collects your details, asks you to complete surveys regarding the issues and displays numerous candidates and their responses to the survey questions.  Each registered person can vote for a candidate.  After a series of votes the field will be narrowed down to the top 2 who will run as President and Vice President on the American Select Ticket.  This election involves every American.
