We here at Bobzio.com want to highlight community acts that demonstrate the core values of a Healthy Democratic Republic.  This is a true event that occurred on a winter evening on the main highway into Houston Missouri in 1987.  I was travelling home from a full day of work and came upon a medium size cargo truck off the side of the road stuck in the ditch.  The sun had set and the light of the day was fading.  I may have been the second or third truck to stop on the side of the highway

We are about to elect a president of the United States.  I want to look back at the qualities of some previous presidents.  Harry S Truman was our 33rd president (1945-1953). He was raised in the Independence, Missouri.  His father was a farmer and livestock dealer.  Some notable facts about his life

Learning is an ongoing phenomena.  Learning ceases to be when our opinions become firm and unchanging. Blacksmiths work with malleable material. They start with raw materials taken from the earth apply temperature and form malleable material. This material looses it's value when it oxidizes completely or becomes so non-malleable to become brittle like glass.  

Quite a bit of negative connotations were applied to those in the political forum when their opinions evolved. For most people who stop evolving terms like digressing, dementia, limited mental capacity, or in street terms his/her elevator is missing some top floors, like a box of rocks, not the brightest bulb or my favorite "Did I really say that!"
