Do you love fishing? Do you live to fish? I have a great place to launch your boat and wet your line. Port St Joe, Cape San Blas, Bay of St Joe, Indian Pass, St Vincent Sound, Apalachicola, Lake Wimico, East Bay, St Joseph Bay, Apalachicola Bay are all known fishing destinations quickly accessible to Cape San Blas, Fl. The best fishing is St Joseph Bay. You can go for the speckled sea trout, red fish, flounder, spanish mackerel, tarpon, pompano, bluefish, and bonita in the St Joseph Bay. If you want to spend a little travel time going offshore you can land trigger fish, red snapper, black snapper, scamp, grouper, amberjack, king mackerel, wahoo, dolphin, tuna and more launching from Indian Pass, Apalachicola, East Bay, Port St Joe, the St Joseph State Park located at the end of Cape San Blas, Florida. If you don’t have a boat, try surf fishing for pompano, redfish, sharks, skipjack, and whiting, off the beaches of Cape San Blas, St Joe Beach, Mexico Beach, St George Island or Indian Pass Beaches.
Now that you have a good place to fish the next concern is where to close your eyes and rest your head. Check out Bayrock 3 . The best deal is a Florida state park yearly pass that permits you to enter the state parks before and exit after normal hours to launch your boat. The annual pass costs about $60. You can get there after work on Friday. Launch your boat and be settled in by 8 pm and be ready to get up with sunrise have your coffee, and be fishing 10 minutes after leaving Bayrock 3 . If you plan to have someone drive your vehicle back, the total launch and boat ride back to the Bayrock Dock is less than 15-20 minutes. The best plan is to stop at the Piggly Wiggly in Port St Joe or the IGA in Apalachicola. Buy your supplies for your intended stay, load your boat cooler with ice and supplies and then separate what you want to place in Bayrock 3 or the largerBayrock1.
