For 100 years now, folks have been coming to our Wyoming guest ranch for 100 different reasons—for some, it’s the horseback riding across sage meadows, fishing for native cutthroat trout, or hiking among wildflowers and meadowlarks. For others, it’s the family time, the fun, and campfire stories beneath a snowstorm of stars. Maybe it’s realizing just how much all that’s worth, that keeps folks coming back to our guest ranch year after year.
And maybe it’s time you found your own reasons to come experience Paradise Guest Ranch. Ranch Specials Ranch Newsletter Pack Trips

Welcome
The peaceful quiet of a beautiful Ozark mountain morning is interrupted by the sound of thundering hoof beats as horses gallop through the woods. The wranglers whoop and holler as they push the stock down to the day pen. The last pony is urged into the corral, the gate is pulled shut and another day at H.C.R. has begun.
Horseshoe Canyon Ranch is a place everyone, young or old, can enjoy. You’ll travel back in time to fresh air, leather, and livestock. You’ll forge new friendships with hard working, friendly people and experience the West (with a dash of Southern charm!) Your lodgings are comfortable rustic log cabins with wide porches and rocking chairs that encourage “settin”. Inside cozy up to the fire to warm up or cool off in the outdoor pool in the summer. For those tired muscles you can soak in the hot tub. Best yet, just enjoy yourself in the quiet of the guest ranch and let someone... |

Best yet, just enjoy yourself in the quiet of the guest ranch and let someone else cook delicious “down-home” meals. You will delight in the freedom of having to do a little bit of everything or nothing at all!
Fill your time at our family dude ranch with outdoor activities like horseback riding and climbing, or if simply relaxing on the porch or sunning by the pool sounds like your kind of vacation, you can come on down too! Whatever you do (or don’t do!) during your visit, you’re sure to leave happier for having experienced the magic of Horseshoe Canyon Ranch.
Kick the city off your boots and come have “a true western experience with southern hospitality…”

Cabins & Facilities
The main Lodge at the Ranch is the place to be when your stomach is rumbling after a full day at the Ranch, it is also is a great place to relax and socialize. The huge fireplace is a natural gathering place. Downstairs, the Lodge has a pool table, ping pong, and foosball table; as well a theater room where you can watch that big game or catch a late movie. The popcorn is hot, fresh and never runs out. There are two café computers and wi-fi for your convenience. The hot tub and pool are right outside too, so enjoy yourself and stay as long as you like…
The Cabins at the Ranch are made from solid log, hand peeled yellow pine. They are rustic yet modern and all have a western homey feel about them. All the cabins have a/c and heat as well as a wood burning stove for those chilly nights when a nice fire is the best way to end the day. A small refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave are there for your convenience. They all have full baths and are fully furnished including linens and towels. The cabins all have spectacular views of the east bluff and a big front porch to soak it all in.
The Center of activity at any ranch is the Barn and we have a dandy. That’s where we meet to head out on the trail. Upstairs you can play indoor hoops, check out the climbing wall or experience the cave simulator called a spelio box… one of only a few in the country. If you cant find your kids at dinner time this is a good place to look.

Lodging Description: We have 12 cozy, comfortable guest log cabins clustered along the Colorado River. Also available is our 3 bedroom Ranch House. All cabins have screened porches. Cabins and the Ranch House are cleaned and the beds made daily. There is a laundry room available for guests to use. Recreation Description: While the ranch features horseback riding and "GOLD MEDAL" fishing, we offer a variety of other non-riding activities to choose from. Jeep rides, Mountain Biking, guided hiking, White water rafting, sight seeing van trips and nearby golf are all available. You can also choose to lounge in our 20X40 heated swimming pool, soak in our jacuzzi, grab a book from our library, or sit and relax in the main lodge. The recreation barn is always open for a game of air hockey, ping pong, shuffleboard or foosball. Food Description: For most meals everyone gathers in the historic lodge where we serve good old American home style cooking. Lunches are served in our river porch overlooking the Colorado River. At 7500 feet elevation the mountain air and outdoor life provide a terrific appetite booster - so we serve em' up in cowboy sized portions. Our entrees are accompanied with delights such as homemade breads, pastries and desserts. Since our own family is split between meat and non-meat eaters, we recognize and appreciate guests' variance in appetities. There are always options available.
