A Beautiful Place to Stay

Nestling in the rolling Andalucían foothills, surrounded by abundant citrus orchards, Cortijo Carranque, with its “dove-cote” tower, is a 400 year-old manor house which has recently been lovingly restored to provide a beautiful, spacious house with many unique features.

ATaste of Real Andalucía

The rural hamlet of Carranque, near Coín, Malaga, is a place where the rhythm of life continues much as it has done for centuries, revolving around the changing seasons: winter rainfall and summer irrigation, spring-time orange harvest and autumn olive harvest.  There may be a few more cars than 50 years ago, and tractors and motorbikes are gradually replacing the donkeys, but the place still retains its ambience of peace and tranquillity.
